Sandblasting agent fine corundum - 25 kg bag

Corundum blasting grit is one of the hardest natural blasting media and therefore ideal for intensive cleaning and surface treatment. Thanks to its high hardness and angular grain shape, this grit effortlessly removes old layers of paint and heavy rust.

Corundum blasting grit contains 25 kilos per bag and is best suited for use in blasting cabinets, where it is collected during use for reuse. This blasting grit can be used up to 20 rounds in the blasting cabinet. It can also be used in blasting boilers. 

Applications: 

• Removing stubborn rust from iron, steel and other metals
• Removing old thick layers of paint>
• Preparing surfaces for coating or varnishing 

Properties: 

• Material: Corundum (aluminium oxide)
• Grain shape: Angular, provides aggressive cleaning and rough surface
• Hardness: Approx. 9 on the Mohs scale
• Lifespan: Very high, can be used multiple times
