Assemble your garage system

Are you looking for a new layout for your workshop or garage? Look no further! At George at Work, we have everything you need to customize your garage or workshop to your liking. We're happy to share practical advice and clever tips to help you assemble the ideal workshop setup yourself.

What is workshop setup?

Workshop setup is a collective term for everything used to furnish a workshop, such as workshop cabinets, workbenches, tool walls, and wall cabinets. A well-designed workshop setup can increase productivity, improve safety, and optimize the work environment.

Choose the line you desire

Before you start assembling your ideal workshop setup, it's important to first choose the desired line, so you can be sure that everything you assemble actually fits together. We call this modular workshop setup. In our range, you'll find four different lines, which vary in price and quality. In the table below, we highlight the most characteristic differences for you.

The Budget Line is the most affordable workshop setup we offer in our range. The Standard Line is the ideal hobby workshop setup, while the Premium and Pro Lines are genuine professional workshop setups.

Step 1: Choose the workshop cabinets

Start by selecting the cabinets to be placed on the floor. These can be any workshop cabinets, tool drawer cabinets, or storage cabinets that will be placed both under and beside the workbench.

Step 2: Choose your worktop

When choosing the worktop, you select the worktop material.

Depending on the chosen line, you have the following options:

  • Budget Line: rubberwood worktop
  • Standard Line: plywoord or stainless steel worktop
  • Premium Line: oak or stainless steel worktop
  • Pro Line: oak or stainless steel worktop

Once you have chosen the desired material, you make a choice in the size of the worktop. You can choose from:

  • Worktop for 1 base cabinet
  • Worktop for 2 base cabinets
  • Worktop for 3 base cabinets
  • Worktop for corner base cabinet
  • Worktop for XL base cabinet (Pro Line)

Step 3: Choose your tool panel

After choosing the worktop, you proceed to step 3, choosing the tool wall(s). You also do this based on the previously chosen worktops.

  • Worktop for 1 base cabinet: 1 tool wall needed
  • Worktop for 2 base cabinets: 2 tool walls needed
  • Worktop for 3 base cabinets: 3 tool walls needed
  • Worktop for 1 corner base cabinet: 2 corner tool walls needed
  • XL worktop: 1 XL tool wall needed

Tip! The Kraftmeister Premium and Pro Lines come standard with tool walls equipped with built-in power outlets.

Note! Have you chosen the Standard Line workshop setup? Don't forget to add the connectors to your shopping cart! You will need these to attach the tool walls together. You need two connectors for each tool wall. So, if you have chosen three tool walls, you will need six connectors.

Step 4: Choose your wall cabinets (optional)

This final step is optional and only necessary if you want additional storage space. However, the wall cabinets do complete your workshop setup entirely.

We offer various types of wall cabinets in our range, such as cabinets with roller doors, cabinets with flap doors, and cabinets with two doors. You choose the wall cabinets based on the number of tool walls you have selected.

  • You can choose one wall cabinet per tool wall.
  • You can opt for a corner wall cabinet if you have also chosen a corner setup in steps 1, 2, and 3.

The assembly of your workshop setup is complete!

After going through these four steps, assembling your workshop is already done. Simple, isn't it? Don't wait any longer and start creating your own workshop setup today!
